VIDEOGRAPHER

As Videographer, your role revolves around crafting compelling narratives that inspire individuals to build a relationship with Jesus and boldly impact the world. Your primary responsibilities include producing, filming, and editing diverse storytelling-driven content for various platforms, collaborating closely with other creative teams to generate captivating video and motion graphics material. Possessing a discerning eye for effective visual storytelling, you remain attuned to current trends and methodologies, ideally incorporating motion graphics and animation. You are entrusted with elevating creative standards to surpass objectives through innovative video production.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Elevate creative standards to surpass objectives through innovative video production.
• Conceptualize and develop creative videos from initial scripting and storyboarding to final video editing, encompassing motion graphics creation, sound editing, mixing, and formatting.
• Manage all aspects of production, including self-producing, lighting, shooting, and directing on video projects.
• Maintain and oversee production and post-production equipment.
• Organize media storage, manage raw materials, and archive final projects systematically.
• Demonstrate adept problem-solving skills under pressure, managing tight deadlines across multiple projects.
• Conduct quality control for all video projects and provide support to team members as required.
• Mentor and guide fellow team members and volunteers, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
• Capture events and gathering photography as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends for filming/photography across various locations.
• Assist in creating slide animations for custom message graphics.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven ability to independently produce high-quality creative content.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities while delivering excellent results within tight deadlines.
• Curiosity, creativity, and a penchant for innovation.
• Eagerness to continually enhance skills and expertise.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and quick thinking in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

MUSIC DIRECTOR

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service Planning

• Collaborate with church leadership (i.e. pastors, event coordinators, production manager, etc.) regarding musical, visual and technical elements of worship services and other church events on campus and off campus. 
• Attend all staff meetings and other events
• Make sure the band is ready for the coming weekend and other events.

Music Leadership

• Lead rehearsals and worship services, ensuring high-quality musical performance
• Direct and coordinate the worship band, including instrumentalists and vocalists
• Prepare songs, arrangements, charts and backing tracks for worship services and send all the resources to the band and singers four days before rehearsal
• Prepare all necessary instruments and perform sound-checks prior to rehearsals worship services and other events.

Team Development

• Recruit, train, and mentor musicians and singers
• Foster a collaborative and spiritually uplifting environment within the worship team
• Work with the Next Gen Worship Coordinator to train musicians
• Attend conferences and other leadership and development. 
• Work, train and connect with other musicians with other Vineyard campuses providing them with resources they need.

Creative Development

• Integrate multimedia elements (i.e. lighting, video, etc.) to enhance the worship experience
• Mix and produce post worship services
• Write and produce songs as assigned by the Directing Worship Pastor

Technical Oversight

• Work with the sound and production teams to ensure optimal audio and visual quality during services
• Oversee the maintenance and organization of musical instruments and equipment 

Spiritual Leadership

• Encourage and support the spiritual growth of the worship team
• Lead by example in personal worship and faith practices

Administrative Duties

• Schedule rehearsals, services, and special events on month ahead 
• Send reminder emails or rehearsal times and other events making sure every musician has all the resources needed to prepare. 
• Keep and submit all the purchase receipts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Musical Expertise

• Proficiency in playing multiple instruments and strong vocal abilities
• Knowledge of contemporary Christian music trends and worship practices

Leadership Skills

• Strong organizational and team management skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of volunteers

Technical Proficiency

• Familiarity with sound systems, lighting and multimedia production4
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during live performances
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude/attitude to embrace new technologies

Creativity

• Innovative approach to worship planning and execution 
• Openness to incorporating various artistic elements into worship services

Spiritual Maturity

• Deep personal faith and commitment to Christian values
• Ability to provide spiritual guidance and support to team members

Communication Skills

• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate with church staff and volunteers
