Welcome to our series on the life of Abraham, we have called it “Journey to Promise”. These groups are designed to deepen your understanding with one of the most pivotal figures in all of Scripture.
Abraham holds a unique place in history, holding a place of honor amongst Jews, Christians, and Muslims. His story of faith, obedience, and covenant with God is foundational to all the Abrahamic religions. Yet, as we explore his life, we will see that Abraham’s journey ultimately points to Jesus and the fulfillment of God’s promises.
Abraham’s unwavering trust in God, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges, offers us a powerful example of what it means to walk by faith. His life encourages us to trust in God’s promises and to embrace the journey God has for us, no matter how uncertain it may seem.
As you engage with these discussions, my hope is that you will find inspiration and encouragement in Abraham’s story. May his faith stir something in you, leading you to a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus.
